Why are all the hotels around Paulista Avenue?
All Hotels listed above are within walking distance of one another. Paulista Avenue is the main street in the City, with lots of great shops, museums, restaurants, bars, etc.
What about renting a house instead of a hotel?
Generally, we would not recommend that guests stay in holiday rentals in Brazil—unless you speak Portuguese and know the country there are a lot of complication that could emerge. Most places, including Sao Paulo, have plenty of great hotels at various price ranges. However, Airbnb and Vrbo are both options if you would like to take your chances!
